If you have registered a File server with EmpowerID, you can publish the shared folders on that server to the IT Shop by setting the Allow Access Requests property to true for each shared folder. Once the property is set, users can request access to the shared folder from the IT Shop.
To publish shared folders to the IT Shop
From the Navigation Sidebar, navigate to the Shared Folders management page by expanding Resources and clicking Shared Folders.
From the Non Home Folders tab of the Shared Folders management page, search for the shared folder you want to publish to the IT Shop, click the drop-down arrow to the left of the folder and then click Edit.
From the Edit page for the shared folder that appears, tick Allow Access Requests so that the option is checked and then click Save.
Navigate to the IT Shop by expanding IT Shop and clicking Find Resources.
From the IT Shop, search for the shared folder. It should appear as a resource.
